Two Great Minds Talk Neurodiversity

Whether you’re neurodivergent yourself, raising or supporting someone who is, or simply want to understand more, this event welcomes you. It’s arelaxed and inclusive space to learn, laugh, and meet like-minded people over a drink and nibbles. This event is inclusive and accessible. Everyone is welcome, especially those who’ve never felt quite at home in traditional settings.

After a year in the making, two of Australia’s most impactful neurodivergent voices, Sarah Hayden, author of Parenting Different, and Madeleine Jaine Lobsey, founder of Wondiverse, are coming together for an unmissable inperson and online event, Two Great Minds, on Saturday 17 August, 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Impact Story Lab, Darlinghurst. This powerful and heartfelt gathering is more than a talk, it’s a moment for the community to breathe, connect, and feel seen.

About the Two Great Minds

Sarah Hayden A mum of five, including actor and activist Chloé Hayden (Heartbreak High). As the author of Parenting Different, her work has inspired thousands of parents and carers to reframe what support can look like. With her signature honesty and deep compassion, Sarah brings both lived experience and practical insight to every conversation.

Madeleine Jaine Lobsey The founder of Wondiverse, a neurodivergent-led social enterprise creating a world where all neurotypes can work and play together. A recognised leader in neuroinclusion, she was named one of Dare Magazine’s Top 50 Australians Over 50 in 2025, and is the host of A Different Brilliant podcast for Autism Spectrum Australia. Her large-scale events and training have impacted thousands through partnerships with major organisations like NSW Parliament, NIDA, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and Western Sydney International Airport.

“People have been asking us to do something like this for a long time,” says Madeleine. “We’ve spent the past year dreaming it up and are so excited to finally make it real. This a place for people to learn and more importantly connect with others.”
