The Make Room Collab partners with arts and culture venues to explore what their space would be like if it were really for everyone at all times. Empowering organisations to write policies, procedures, and practices and, more importantly, implementing them. Developing the staff to look newly at their colleagues and customers. Creating projects and events that include the whole community. When your organisation completes the Make Room Collab, you will find your community can connect with others in a way that feels natural and comfortable, without feeling pressured to conform to social norms or expectations. This is about evolving from relaxed performances or quiet hours and becoming a place where this is standard practice at all times.
We know connecting, feeling safe and welcome, and participating in all environments can be challenging. The Make Room Collab works side by side with organsiations so your place becomes a pressure free zone so people can do what they love. We design projects, events and activities created by neurodivergent practitioners and informed by the community and their special interests. We then work from beginning to end to create, train, and deliver a whole new environment and way of operating for all neurotypes.
