WonderSpace
A Creative Storytelling Project for all.
A immersive arts experience where creativity has no rules and everyone belongs. Come create your stories in an neuroinclusive and no pressure way that works for all kinds of minds.
Wonderspace is a workshop series, designed especially for neuroinclusion and benefits everyone. Itβs a gentle, choice-based exploration of creative expression through a range of immersive art practices, all set within a quiet, sensory-friendly environment. Led by two neurodivergent professional artists Bria McCarthy and Madeleine Jaine Lobsey.
Over the course of each of four workshops, people are free to participate as much or as little as they like. They will be able to create their own stories through many mediums.
- Explore the magic of shadow puppetry
- Be mesmerised by liquid light projection
- Express yourself through creative writing
- Sketch your ideas or create a comic
- Bring your laptop and practice your stop motion, film making or music
- Or simply sit, observe and take it all in at your own pace
Over the course of four workshops we will gather stories, then artists and facilitators Bria and Madeleine will create a zine (mini magazine) that will be published. Each participant will receive a copy of the zine. QR codes will link to digital projects.
We will come together and celebrate our storytelling at the end of the project.
